One of her gifts is the ability to make you believe that you can be an artist, no matter your artistic background. She taught a workshop for a diverse group of people and each one of us had a fantastic time. I took the skills I learned and came home and bought gelli plates so that I could do the project with my family. I particularly loved seeing my parents in their late 80s, my mom on hospice, finding joy in creating and reawakening something in their spirits that had lain dormant for too long.
