Watercolor Practice – Inspired by Gwen John
February 16, 2026
3 to 5:30 pm
Join us for our Watercolor Practice series. Each week we’ll study and copy renowned artists to build your watercolor skills in color, technique and composition—then use what you’ve learned to create art that reflects your own style.
This week our featured artist is: Gwen John.
Gwen John (1876–1939) was a Welsh artist known for her intimate portraits and interior scenes painted in subtle, muted tones. Working primarily in oil and watercolor, she developed a quiet, contemplative style that focused on solitary figures, often women and children.
Space for these classes is limited to 18 participants. RSVP is required.
