Watercolor Practice – Inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe

3 to 5:30 pm

Join us for our Watercolor Practice series. Each week we’ll study and copy renowned artists to build your watercolor skills in color, technique and composition—then use what you’ve learned to create art that reflects your own style.

This week our featured artist is: Georgia O’Keeffe.

Georgia O’Keeffe (1887–1986) is most well known for her close-up paintings of flowers, New York skyscrapers, and New Mexico landscapes. She has a distinctive style that simplified natural forms into powerful, abstract compositions. Her early watercolors are loose and powerful explorations of color and shape.

Space for these classes is limited to 18 participants. RSVP is required.
