Sacred Datura – Flowers of Zion Art Workshop

3 to 5:30 pm

This week in our Flowers of Zion art workshop series we are focusing on Sacred Datura.

Notable for its large, trumpet-shaped flowers Sacred Datura typically blooms from late spring through early fall, with peak blooming occurring in the summer months. The flowers often open in the evening and close by midday.

The name “Sacred Datura” reflects the plant’s historical and cultural significance, particularly among Native American tribes.
