Prickleypear – Flowers of Zion Art Workshop

This week in our Flowers of Zion art workshop series we are focusing on the Prickleypear.
In Zion National Park, you can find several species of Pricklypear cactus.
How do you capture the iridescence of the petals and the delicate folds? We’ll experiment with colors and techniques.
Join us! Whether you’re an experienced artist or just starting out, this workshop for adults offers a relaxed and supportive environment to develop your skills and creativity.

Lanell Dike
Lanell has been teaching weekly art classes for adults at the Springdale Canyon Community Center since 2021. Her workshops are a mix of instruction, art history and contemporary art examples for inspiration, and then lots of time to experiment and create.
