Monday, March 24 – Drawing Practice 2025

3 to 5:30 PM

Don’t worry whether you can draw or not. Do you want to learn? Do you want to get better at drawing? Join us! All levels welcome.

Each week we will focus on one specific aspect of drawing and explore that topic with a variety of different mini exercises. Beginners will develop self-confidence and get over the “I can’t draw” hurdle and experienced drawers will grow in their skills.

We’ll look at sketches and drawings by iconic artists like Degas, Van Gogh, and Matisse, and we’ll also explore modern examples from artists like Corita Kent and Ruth Asawa. This wide variety of artists’ drawing practices will help spark ideas and deepen your understanding of the many ways to approach drawing.
