Butterfly Milkweed – Flowers of Zion Art Workshop

3 to 5:30 pm

This week in our Flowers of Zion art workshop series we are focusing on Butterfly Milkweed.

Found blooming in Zion National Park near creeks and seasonal drainages, May through August, this bright orange flower is a showstopper whenever you see one.

How do you paint the color and the individual blooms to bring this flower to life on your canvas or paper? We’ll talk about techniques and color mixing and look at examples from other artists.

Join us! Whether you’re an experienced artist or just starting out, this workshop for adults offers a relaxed and supportive environment to develop your skills and creativity.
