Botanical Prints with Gelli Plates – in Virgin, UT

3:30 to 5pm

Learn the art of gelli plate printing in this hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop. Using a gelli plate, brayer, and acrylic paint, you’ll explore mono-printing techniques inspired by leaves, flowers, and other botanical forms found around the venue.

Each print pulls up a little differently, so there’s a playful, experimental feel to the process — mistakes often turn into the most interesting results. No drawing or painting experience is required; this workshop is a wonderful fit for complete beginners and experienced artists alike.

Space is limited to 20 participants — RSVP required. Text or call 435-414-0279 to reserve your spot.

This workshop is part of the Kaleidoscope: Aging With the Creative Spirit Festival, a part of the Utah Creative Aging Coalition. Sponsored by Z-Arts and the Town of Virgin.
