We’ve got a very special Artist Talk & Opening Reception with Tom Wheeler and Daphne Overstreet on Friday, May 30 from 4 to 6:00pm at the Canyon Community Center in Springdale.
Tom is a longtime Springdale artist. While you may have seen some of his current work at DeZion Gallery or the Bit & Spur Monday Farmers Markets, the story of how he came to create what he does today is fun and fascinating.
Daphne, years ago, threw away all her art supplies, convinced she could never become an artist—despite it being her heart’s desire. Come learn about her journey of overcoming those fears, and see the powerful and beautiful art that she is making now.
Yay for our amazing local artists! What a joy to be part of such a diverse and creative community.
